How to obtain Vietnam Visa?

Getting information on how to apply Viertnam visa is havoc if you do a internet search.


1-ONLINE eVISA (Easiest and cheapest)


We have applied online eVisa for 11 person on https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/ during our visit on June 2017

- One application per person
- USD 25+1 per person, 30-50% cheaper than on-arrival visa. 80% cheaper that
- Three working day for approval
- Use white background photo craps in 2:3 ratio
- Use reference number received in email and check/download eVisa https://evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn/tra-cuu-thi-thuc
- Print eVisa and straight to to Vietname immigration
- Save 1.5 hours time on Vietnam airport is you are not getting on-arrival visa

2- On Arrival Visa


-  It is 2 part process
- Why you want to Internet search will list few hundred agents. Ensure that there is no record of cheating of agent website
- USD 6 to 28 for pre-approval letter. Pre-approval letter may have some other name of some other country as agent may apply many tourist from many countries in single application!
- Submit 2 passport photo + Pay USD 25 at Vietnam airport for Visa stamping

3- Go to Embassy of Vietnam


- A lot of paper work, costlier, need 2 visit etc.
